Happy new year 2012! It has been half a year since I’ve posted. Sorry for that. There’s been a lot going on in my life and I just haven’t factored my blog into the equation. So, I failed miserably with 2011’s resolution to blog more frequently. I’m back now, and we’ll see how well I stay here. I do like to blog, and after this past semester at school with a creative writing class I can at least use this blog to post short stories and poems.
I began my LPN program with this past fall semester. I’m proud to say that I passed and am moving on to the rest of the program beginning January 9th. I thoroughly enjoy clinical and the different patients I meet and situations I come across. While some of my classmates enjoy it too, I think that I don’t get quite as stressed as they do, at least on the outside. Nursing does feel where I’m meant to be. I’ll be done in June if I make it through.
My creative writing class was so enjoyable that I’ve been inspired to start writing again. Hopefully, this blog will serve as a conduit for my creative inspirations. We shall see, and I hope you enjoy what I post. I also enjoy using StumbleUpon, so I may just post some links to things I find interesting or amusing.
At some point this year I’ll redouble my efforts to find out why some my family is so distant. I want to have people in my life so I can know how they’re doing. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about at least two people who don’t talk to me anymore. I can’t help it, they’re my family. I refuse to believe that every bridge is burned. It’s not as though I am unreachable. Hello, Family? I am reachable. Find my on Facebook or here on my blog. I want to have a relationship with you, and if I did something to offend you, will you please talk to me about it? I honestly have no idea why most of you don’t talk with me anymore. Let’s use this new year to air out troubles and get back to the basics. Thank you!
Good luck with any resolutions you’ve made for 2012. I have a few myself that I will not share at this time. Around the middle of the year I’ll provide my readers with a status update and at the end of the year I’ll let you know how I fared. ^_^ In the meantime, I wish everyone well. Have a safe journey in the coming months as you try to better yourself and your life. I’ll be working at it right along with you.
