it never fails to amaze me!
I am a sucker for snow. I have no problem shoveling it. I like to play in it. I don’t mind feeling wet and cold afterward. I also like to eat it (when it’s fresh only!). Our first major snowstorm of the season has finally tapered off. I believe this was actually the second snow, but it’s been dubbed the “Blizzard of 2009.” Go figure.
I sometimes wonder why so many people live up here that just cannot abide snow. Me, well, I’m a four-season girl, and I will take whatever comes with that. My poor husband longs for Florida weather again. It was always too stifling for me. We could end up back down there again some day. Who knows?
But snow. You couldn’t really build anything with this soft, fluffy stuff. I still enjoyed being outside in it though. Certainly looks like we’ll be having a white Christmas this year. Ah, winter.
I feel like this is a turning point. The winter solstice is tomorrow on the 21st. The day’s will start getting longer after tomorrow. I’m looking forward to a turning point in my life as well. The new year is just around the corner. There’s no telling what it will bring in. I have to actually have a new year’s resolution this year. I didn’t have one to focus on this past year.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
(just not too too much, please!)
